They are evil sounding and very heavy – epic at times. Aaron Turner’s progressive style has been a very big influence bringing massive riffs, shoe-gazing psychedelia, and sinister atmosphere. To sum it up, it is a fusion of the dreamlike sounds of post-rock and the evil apocalyptic power of black metal. All Hail The Dark Lord!
