“You blame me for the light, you blame for the dark, You blame for the angels which never come to hark, You blame me for the dry and the wet that makes you ache, You blame me for your love which still has to take, you blame me for the sadness and your work which can’t get done, You blame me for the mocking cast of the setting sun”

Munly and The Lupercalians play Southern Gothic folk country, formed in Denver by Jay Munly they blend Americana, gospel and country with dark bleak themes, a haunting voice, solitary banjo, eerie organ & strings and primitive drums to create an intense, dark and mesmerizing affair. Pure Ominous Pagan Folk music.

The Legendary Pink Dots are an avant-garde rock band formed in London in the early 80’s. They mix psychedelic/noise/experimental/neo-folk/jazz and death rock to come out with a sound of their own. Edward Ka-Spel’s haunting vocals and surrealistic lyrics are unique, along with Phil Knight “The Silverman” electronics and soundscapes. Also playing with them are Erik Drost on guitars (electric & acoustic) and Raymond Steeg a live sound engineer.

Also playing: Munly And The Lupercalians – Dark goth folk from Denver, perfect local band to open the show.
