The dark soul from Louisiana will make his presence felt in the Mile Hi City once again, he will tell us tales of death, love, the devil, suede shoes, morbid themes and suicide, pure dark blues punk rock.

As he rises from the hellfire and sets upon the Mile Hi City, Dax Riggs brings his dark and soulful blues back to town, his music will make you stand up in your grave and drop the velvet black curtains.

Dax Riggs plays “Southern Gothic Blues,” a hypnotic slow burn of psychedelic heavy blues rock, slow and melodic with dark tones. “Say Goodnight To The World” is his latest album, it has a dark, trippy atmosphere, with soulful and haunting songs, his voice and guitar helps darken the planet into dank shadows. “Likes the dark and feels we are all one.”

THE HIGH CONFESSIONS – “Turning Led In To Gold With…” Industrial rock from four very different musicians. THC are Chris Connelly (Finitribe, Revco, Murder Inc.), Sanford Parker (Minsk), Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Jeremy Lemos (White/Light). They play a real heavy psychedelic industrial rock mixed with electronic ambience, drone soundscapes and avant-garde. The combination of Chris Connelly’s vocals and Steve Shelly’s drums reminds me of Pigface’s early records, just a wall of sonic sound. On the last two songs “Dead Tenements” and “Chlorine and Crystal” this group really comes together and delivers in my opinion, two of the best songs in recent times.
