“Altars Of Madness” is pure satanic mayhem, occult death metal at is best, Morbid Angel formed in the early 80’s in Tampa and have been creating (at least until 2003) some of the heaviest evil metal around. They’ve released such classics as “Heretic” “Covenant””Blessed Are The Sick” and “Abominations Of Desolation” pure brutal and blasphemous death metal. Hail Satan!

The unclean spirits of Obsidian Fog Promotions know how to conjure dark spirits to the Tavern of Hell with lush and dark doom, death, sludge, grind and black metal, so come and spend a couple of magical nights and worship the horned god with all of this beautiful noise. Here are the bands playing:

Night One: November’s Doom – death/doom metal from Chicago, their music is haunting, beautiful, sad and heavy. Also playing according to the flyers a “surprise guest” and local demons Adai, Royal Talons and Black Sleep Of Kali.

Night Two: Pallbearer – doom metal from the graveyards of Arkansas, Cough – slow as hell doom metal from the unholy land, Virginia. Also playing locals The Flight Of The Sleipnir, CTTTOAFF, Stoic Dissenton, In The Company Of Serpents, Blighter, Earth Burnt Black, not to forget  Thothamon – doom metal from incest country Alabama and Nevertanezra – doom/death metal from beautiful Utah.

Saint Vitus are slow and heavy as hell, full of distorted ominous riffs, dirty, booze-fuelled deep vocals, hypnotic slow tribal drumming, pure doom metal. Formed in L.A. in the early 80’s, they released the bluesy and droney masterpiece “Born Too Late” an album full of depression, loneliness, death and substance abuse. They’ve also released other good albums like “Hallow’s Victim” “Mournfull Cries” and their latest “Lillie: F-65.”
