Cannibal Corpse are a gore-soaked death metal band from Buffalo, NY that formed in the late 80’s. Technical riffs, rapid double bass passages, blast beats and brutal vocals are what their albums are made of, like the classic “Butchered At Birth” a soundtrack for when you decide to commit your most vicious and horrendous crime. The music an artwork are sick, disturbing, offensive, horrific, completely disgusting and it makes you uncomfortable, a true death metal masterpiece. Watain – black metal from Sweden, these sons of Lucifer cover themselves in blood an invoke the Dark Lord with every ceremony they perform on stage, The Devil’s Blood – occult metal from the Netherlands that also like to cover themselves in blood, In Solitude – old school metal from Sweden, last year they released the excellent tribute to the fallen one: “The World, The Flesh, The Devil” and Nightbringer – black metal from deep in the pits of Colorado’s hell.
