Ceremony are a punk band from The Bay Area that formed in the mid 00’s, they just released (in my opinion) the best punk rock album in a long time “Zoo” a beautiful mix of garage rock and late 70’s, early 80’s UK punk. They have also released other albums like “Violence Violence” a more raw, noisy, superfast hardcore punk album and “Rohnert Park” a more garage punk sounding album. Live they are something special, a lot of energy and crowd interaction, so put on on your docs and let’s pogo like it was 1979!

WITCH MOUNTAIN @ THE LARIMER LOUNGE 6/20/12 DENVER-CO

Come out and join the ritual and celebrate a night of Northwestern mysticism and doom metal. Pure occultism and crushing heaviness from Portland, Witch Mountain play heavy doom metal that is hypnotic like the call from a siren of death. Formed in the mid-90’s they’ve released the great “South Of Salem” and their new album “Cauldron Of The Wild.”

Formed in Tampa in the early 90’s they released “Haunted” a death ‘n’ roll gem of pure sickness.

Punk metal veterans Corrosion Of Conformity will be back in The Mile Hi City for the second time since they decided to go back to their roots. They formed in North Carolina back in the early 80’s and became one of the first crossover bands, they release “Eye For An Eye” and then the masterpiece “Animosity” an album full of raw hardcore energy with grimy unpolished metal riffs, tortured wails & growls, rabid screaming and a lot of grit & grime.

Red Fang play down-tuned blues-fueled psychedelic rock with a touch of sludge metal. They formed in Portland in the mid-00’s and they release the stoner rock gem “Murder The Mountains” full of haunting melodies, pummeling drums, floor-shaking bass, catchy vocals and heavy metal riffs. A pure assault of beer-soaked, head banging rock!

Mournful cries, crawling bass, galloping riffs and drums, pure doom metal is what The Gates Of Slumber play. Formed in the late 90’s in Indiana, they’ve released several masterpieces of heavy, slow, crushing doom like “The Wretch” “Hymns Of Blood And Thunder” and “Conqueror.” Doom Shall Rise!
