Paradise Lost are a doom metal band from England that formed in the late 80’s. Thay started as a death/doom metal band and transform themselves into a gothic metal band, their sound creates an eerie, haunting and mournful atmosphere and produces a melancholy sound. They’ve released the masterpiece “Gothic” along other great albums like “Draconian Times” “Lost Paradise” “Icon” and their newest “Tragic Idol” these are albums that are dark and epic with thick and heavy guitars and growl/scream vocals that evoke gloominess.

Vektor are a thrash metal band from Arizona that formed in the early 00’s. They incorporate elements of death and black metal into their progressive and complex style of thrash. They’ve released a couple of good albums “Black Future” and “Accelerating Universe” both full of insane guitar playing, futuristic apocalyptic imagery and very aggressive.

Refused are a political punk band from Sweden that formed in the early 90’s. At the begining they released a couple of traditional hardcore albums “This Just Might Be…The Truth” and “Songs To Fan The Flames Of Discontent” they are raw and edgy full of punk ideals like anti-capitalism, overthrow the political system and the destruction of governments. Then in 1998 they went through a change and released the masterpiece “The Shape Of Punk To Come” the only way to describe it is by listening to it, it has a more complex sound, it will take you through a journey of punk rock, jazz, techno, alt-rock just to name a few.
