If you don’t have anything better to do on Saturday night there is an ok metal show down at the Gothic, black metal, melodic death metal, thrash, creepy atmospheres, black thrashing demonic blastbeats and rapid fire riffage is what to expect, very aggressive. Here are the bands playing:

Take a trip to your local graveyard and listen to tales of morbid disasters, tainted love and good ol’ necrophilia. Nekromantix are a psychobilly band from Denmark that formed in the late 80’s, Kim Necroman is the only original member, and he and his ghouls have released such gems as “Hellbound” “Return Of The Loving Dead” “Curse Of The Coffin” and their latest “What Happens In Hell, Stays In Hell” an album full of evil riffs and hoppy bass-lines. Their live shows are intense, sinister and insane, so dig up a corpse and have a good time.

THE BODY @ BLAST-O-MAT 9/28/11 DENVER-CO

The Body are a sludge/doom/noise metal duo from Rhode Island that formed in the late 90’s. They’ve released “All The Waters Of The Earth Turn To Blood” an album that is full of high-pitched tortured vocals and heavy low riffs. Pure apocalyptic noise doom!

Also playing: Braveyoung – an instrumental orchestral ambient/drone rock band from North Carolina and Matawan – doom from Denver.

I, Parasite are an atmospheric experimental electronic rock band from NYC. “The Sick Are Not Healing” is their latest album, full of feedback and discords with harmonious melodies, raw vocals full of emotion, harsh guitars, dark electronics with masses of static, pure experimental surgical electronic music.

Android Lust – an electronic/industrial alien eroticism project from the one and only Shikhee.

Roughhausen – electronic/industrial project from Jeff Stoddard who’s been a member of FLA and the mighty WILL.

Diverje – harsh industrial from New Mexico, Torso – industrial/aggrotech from Denver and Dj Mudwulf – industrial turntable master from The Mile Hi City.

BISON B.C. @ THE LARIMER LOUNGE 9/23/11 DENVER-CO

Bison B.C. – Canadian sludge/stoner metal band, in 2010 they released “Dark Ages” a violent and primal album, full of crushing charging riffs, pounding drums and heavy nasty guitar tones.

DWARVES @ THE BLUEBIRD THEATER 9/23/11 DENVER-CO

Sex, drugs, self-mutilation, sodomy, rape and violence is what comes to mind when the Dwarves come to town. Full of piss & vinegar, these punks from Chicago formed in the mid-80’s, they released the garage swamp punk rock album “Horror Stories” a sick and deranged classic “Blood, Guts and Pussy” and a new punk spazz noise album “The Dwarves Are Born Again.”  If you want to witness sweaty and naked mischievous punk rock and feel like you were raped by Satan, come join them for a magical night.

The Vibrators are an old school punk band from England that formed in the mid-70’s. After many line-up changes they are still playing around the world and they’ve released many albums like “Pure Mania” “Recharged” and Alaska 127.”

AGNOSTIC FRONT @ THE MARQUIS THEATER 9/14/11 DENVER-CO

Formed in 1980, Agnostic Front are NYHC legends, they’ve released the masterpiece “Victim In Pain” and other greats like “Cause For Alarm” and “One Voice” pure brass-knuckled working class hardcore.

Explosions In The Sky are an instrumental ambient rock band from Austin, Texas that formed in the late 90’s. Live they are epic, beautiful, loud and emotional, full of ethereal guitars and a storm of distortion effects with drippy textures, very hypnotic and frantic shows. VALE OF PNATH @ THE MARQUIS THEATER 9/10/11 DENVER-CO

Come out and spend a fun night full of mutilation, death, blast beats, torture, complex rhythmics, gore, brutality, distorted guitars, aggressive growls and our good friend Satan. There is good talent in the Mile Hi City when it comes to extreme metal, here are five bands playing:
