SCOTT KELLY @ THE HI-DIVE 12/03/11 DENVER-CO

Scott Kelly is a dark folk/americana singer from Oakland, he is better known as one of the voices and founding member of metal titans Neurosis. He has released a couple of albums “Spirit Bound Flesh” and “The Wake” heavy, bleak folk music that creates an atmosphere and mood with it’s minimalistic acoustic guitar and deep soulful voice, the repetitive driving force makes it eerily haunting and hypnotic. 

Also playing: Munly – gothic folk from Denver and Bob Wayne – outlaw country rock from Seattle.
