Field hollers, funeral marches and murder ballads…. amped up to eleven, that’s what The Legendary Shack Shakers sound like. Punk blues, rockabilly and psychobilly are what their shows are, led by Col. JD Wilkes on vocals and harp, Mark Robertson on bass, Duane Denison (Jesus Lizard, Tomahawk) on guitar and Brett Whitacre on drums. They have released several real good lp’s including “Cockadoodledon’t” “Hunkerdown” and their latest “AgriDustrial” true Southern Gothic.
